Me neither. Would it be possible to publish a copy of it in the forums. I would be just as happy to read it here as in my inbox.

Looks like we missed out on the Sept newsletter. Maybe we'll get one this month.

Not even a response?
Please remove me from the mailing list.
I definately agree with GeoBain, tho. I'd rather read it here on the forums in its' own category.
How 'bout it?

I am not sure why one of the SC has not responded, I was kinda waiting to see if someone "official" was going to post.

There was a NL for September and there is one for October, the September was not delivered and the October is pending delivery. I feel confident the October NL will be delivered very soon. Smile

I do not deliver the NLs I just compile them.

FWIW - There has been a NL compiled every month since December 2006.

not responded

Me thinket by the non responding the SC might not want the membership to be in the know of any GGA news.

my apology for the negative post

Another (non-geocaching) group I belong to has a monthly newsletter. What they do is publish it to a website, then email everyone on the mailing list a short email that basically says "the newsletter has the following articles ..... this is the link to it". That way everyone that wants to know, gets a reminder that it is there, and the old issues are available to everyone especially to new members. It seems to work well.

That is a great idea. I will work with the SC to see if we can get something like this implemented.

Also if we did that any new events could still be published on the NL and it would be more up to date. Smile

I recently volunteered to be the backup newsletter deliverer but I haven't been able to get ahold of the delivery procedure nor email address book.

The membership should however appreciate the effort put fourth by POS to produce it and I know the Steering Committee does.

The membership deserves consistency. I'll run Allen's method suggestion by the SC and will work on getting it posted here in the forums.

I'll report back here by EOD Wednesday or sooner.

Joe

The newsletter was emailed out a little bit ago. I can't vouch for the accuracy of the address book just yet until an inspection is performed. Please be patient.

I'm working on the forums version too.

Got my email and thanks for publishing the back issues to the forums. Smile

I didn't mean to confuse anyone, but when I saw all the other posts in that section, I thought they were back issues. I just realized they are minutes from other meetings. OOPS.

Thank anyway for posting the new issue. Smile
