As was previously announced, the GGA web site was recently upgraded. The new site just received a new feature. On the GGA home page you'll now see a box with the latest topics on this board within the last 24 hours. Check it out at www.ggaonline.org

EDIT: Whoops. Looks like Greg and I posted the above at the same time. My bad.

Thanks to all those responsible for the cool new forum site and the cool new GGA site. I like it. Just another way to goof off at work. Great.

confused Finally figured out how I could post with InfoPop. Seems like it does NOT like Macs running Netscape 4 at all. mad The text was so tiny that I could not read it. According to their 'Help' it has to do with the 'character set' (UTF-8 or ASCII) chosen in the administrators control panel. UTF-8 being the default; and ASCII being the choice allowing Macs to read it. I think tho, that using ASCII might not allow some special characters to show up properly.
Anyway, I downloaded the Opera web browser and can now read and post with it. It is faster than NS, too, so maybe I'll use it as my main browser (after putting it through it paces).
Just ramblin'. wink

Well the infopop website does say :
quote:
UBB.x requirements - Internet Explorer® Version 5+ or Netscape® Version 6+ is recommended. The interface is functional for all browsers (including Mozilla, Mac IE, Opera, and Konquerer), but some features that require Javascript may be degraded with non-recommended browsers/older versions.

And since the Netscape 6 minimum requirements call for at least a 266mhz processor to run (mine is an old 200mhz PPC), I'll try Opera for awhile. Ain't ready to upgrade to the new G4 just yet. $$$ cool
