We talked about hosting a hike into Providence Canyon. Anyone still interested? Also, one of the GS Lackeys created a challenge there that includes hiking to the bottom of the canyon. If you're into that sort of thing... Merry Christmas y'all Janet Team Underachievers - we log a lot of miles for a few smiles

Good call, Janet. I've been wanting to do that for quite a while now. Steve: What month is up for discussion for a "hike" event? Does kinda make a difference. GA weather and all. lol Lynn aka futurechief

Providence Canyon sounds like a lot of fun. That too has been on our list for years. We need the Difficulty/Terrain combo for "well rounded cacher". Lately, the only thing getting well-rounded is me. Jim ____________________ We make difficult caches even more so.

Raven Cliffs Earthcache looks like fun. http://coord.info/GC1GMJ6 There is also a multi cache along the trail.

I was there when stage 1 got placed, of course I have long since lost the info and need to get back out there and do this one. Been on my list since I was up there with the CO.

Depending on the month and the opportunity for having the gate open could prove getting to the crash site a all day "extreme" adventure. (my favorite) If the bears are sleeping, I can offer to show you the site, if they are not sleeping, I'll give Eric some coordinates and bacon (sorry phat.) so he can be first to "go in".
