We talked about hosting a hike into Providence Canyon. Anyone still interested?

Also, one of the GS Lackeys created a challenge there that includes hiking to the bottom of the canyon. If you're into that sort of thing...

Merry Christmas y'all

Good call, Janet. I've been wanting to do that for quite a while now.
Steve: What month is up for discussion for a "hike" event? Does kinda make a difference. GA weather and all. lol

Providence Canyon sounds like a lot of fun. That too has been on our list for years. We need the Difficulty/Terrain combo for "well rounded cacher". Lately, the only thing getting well-rounded is me. Fool Laugh

Raven Cliffs Earthcache looks like fun. http://coord.info/GC1GMJ6
There is also a multi cache along the trail.

I was there when stage 1 got placed, of course I have long since lost the info and need to get back out there and do this one. Been on my list since I was up there with the CO.

Depending on the month and the opportunity for having the gate open could prove getting to the crash site a all day "extreme" adventure. (my favorite) If the bears are sleeping, I can offer to show you the site, if they are not sleeping, I'll give Eric some coordinates and bacon (sorry phat.) so he can be first to "go in".
