New County Open to Geocaching

In preparation of the upcoming cable TV special I will be assisting with, I contacted the Director and Assistant Director of Parks and Recreation for Henry County. I just got their response:

Hey David, I got your email the other day. This sounds like a very exciting and entertaining adventure. Considering the facts that you stated in the letter concerning trash and not disturbing the natural setting of a park, we will certainly grant you permission to use our parks for this activity. That's great! So now we're accepted in Cobb and Henry counties. In Georgia, 2 counties down, only 157 to go.
Rome wasn't built in a day, either!
I guess we can use the approval of these counties as a precedent to show the other counties when we ask them.

Does anyone know if we need to notify anyone about cache placement, or do we have free rein to have at it?

After receiving permission from the director of the Parks Dept. and having not received a request for notifications I would assume that we have free rein as long as we placed caches responsibly. If you feel the need to notify someone, however, I see no problem with it. It might also help to let them know that we do have permission from Andy Walker.
