Hmmm... that could be why I am having problems seeing the tabs then as well. However, I have a work app that has known issues with the latest Firefox update... So do I update to get the new features at GC.com working or keep the old version so I can access this jop application... Work or Play. Hmmm... Sail Fast ... |

| Try Portable Firefox. You can run it right off a USB drive as 1.5 and keep the earlier version installed on the PC. reepicheep |

Yeah, that's pretty cool. I did like you did, Allen, and added parking coords to a couple of my caches. I should probably go back and put in the intermediate and final stages to my multi and mystery caches. I'm all the time having to look through my notes for those when someone e-mails me for a hint. The cache reviewers are hoping that eventually having the intermediate and final stages of caches in this field will make it possible for us to view their proximity to other caches and to map features like RR tracks and other places prohibiting caches. Right now it's awkward to check for this when a cache is reviewed, and even more awkward when a second multi is submitted near an existing multi. I'm the guy who volunteered to approve caches in Austria, and in the city of Vienna there's often another multi with starting coords every .1 mile. Those multis have stages that overlap like strands of a spiders web. Here's one random example ~erik~ |

Things are sorta in a state of flux. I believe that's already been corrected, fonts are being resized right now.... ~erik~ |

| quote: There is so many virtuals that need to go.
Now that's not very nice. Actually the rules say that virts have to be maintained too, and that logging on at least monthly is seen as an indication that they cache owner is still active. If you see one who's owner has not logged on in the last month it's fair game to post a SBA note on, but the cache reviewers will give the owner time to respond. Some virtual cache owners still get the log e-mails, even though they don't log on, so we don't want to archive a virt prematurely. Since new virts have been redirected to www.waymarking.com the cache reviewers have stopped restricting the placement of new caches based on the .1 mile distance from a virt. I know the geocaching guidelines have been updated since that happened, but am not sure if it's clearly spelled out. ~erik~ |
