I am a delivery man for a paper goods company in Acworth. I drive in circles in the 14 county metropolitan area every day. Driving by hundreds of caches a day without being able to stop and find them is a challenge but I am getting used to it. (every once in a while I give in to the urge !!! Shhhhhh don't tell the boss). I have a degree in History so the more historical the cahce the better I like it. I am always looking to cachers hunting caches at a cache site so if a big truck drives up while you are getting out of your car it might be me.

I am a full time member of the Georgia Army National Guard. I spend 3 years at home then a year eating dust and sand. I am a Supply Sergeant as a primary job. Thats pretty much means I order stuff and fix weapons.
My GPSr is Trans-Portable and has a Ford Ranger mounted to it. |

I am the manager of the IT Problem Management team for a large bank. I go caching during my free time with my kids or while I'm out camping or hiking as Scoutmaster of Boy Scout Troop 434.
I discovered Geocaching late in 2002 via a friend at work after I got a Garmin GPS III for Christmas. I now use the eTrex LegendĀ® HCx that I won at the Sixth Annual GGA Challenge Event last year. Go Jackets! |

RF Engineer and Project Manager for telecommunications networks ranging from GSM/CDMA to 802.11x.
GPS and maps are a part of my job. Having degrees in physics and astronomy, I have always enjoyed maps, navigation and orienteering. I got started way back in 2002 as a form of physical therapy recovering from broken ankles sustained in an automobile accident. I'd have to say the thing I enjoy most is creating caches and watching people have fun finding them. Contrary to popular belief, I do not take pleasure in seeing people fail at finding my caches. A geocacher's nighmare: able to find hundreds of hidden boxes all over the world, yet can only find one sock when unloading the clothes dryer. |

I grew up working in residential construction. No degrees, just a lot of experience. Done a lot of most of the trades. I have been self employed for 25+ years and God willing will remain so! Ann stayed home with the kids till they were teens and now is an excellent waitress at Mike's restaurant here in Ellijay. We only work to support our work with youth and our geo-habit!

I try to educate high school students, in recent years teaching World Geography. I like puzzles and treasure, so once I found the geocaching site, I was hooked before I ever went to look for a cache. Can't wait to get my strength back from cancer treatments so I can get around to caching and events again soon. I'm also a history buff, and so many of my caches have history stories. I like to go after similar caches too.
*********** Anna Just because you know the latitude and longitude, doesn't mean you know where you are! |

I started out in Security at a large hospital in Savannah, GA and am currently in the same position but also on an MBA Mentorship Project Committee and trying move into the business side of the hospital. My position with the committee is business analyst. I love both my jobs at the hospital but would rather geocache instead.
