Trailerman and SigOther have set sail on their trip! I miss him already.

http://www.integritycruise.com/

I wanted to post a topic we could bump from time to time to watch one of our favorite GGA'ers as they continue on their adventure.

Poor Trailerman! (Or should I say, poor Ruth.)
Of all things, he has to break his thumb just as he heads out!

OUCH!!! Eek

Despite that, they set off and are on their way. The adventure officially began at 1500 hrs, Friday, April 8th, 2005.

As of today they appear to be near Charleston, SC. There have been some minor troubles, but it looks like they are having some fun.

Been following them along.
Looks like they are having a blast.

Can't wait till he is back with stories of sea monsters and white whales.

I have also been trying to convince my wife that this is something we should consider doing at some point. Looks like I still have some pursuading to do Roll Eyes. Looking forward to hearing the latest .

Their day 114 looked really cool. It appears while there is boat passage around the easter United States there isn't a water passage. The Integrity had to be carried over a dam and road. Looks like they are having fun.

The "Big Chute" seems like an ineresting little marvel. Kind of a boat roller coaster...

Bumping this one up for some pictures in their log.
They are not really nautical, but amazing.
I'll post one below as an appetizer.

Come to think of it, no.
I have it in my ChangeNotes.com when posts occur.

Maybe we can email the person that posts the updates?

I check the page almost every day, and I haven't seen any activity either. Maybe they have run aground for the holidays.

I e-mailed about it a couple of days ago when I noticed it had been awhile, but I haven't heard back yet. I was thinking maybe they came back to Georgia for Thanksgiving?

Hello All,

I received a reply from Bill & Ruth and all is well! They had no cellphone service for several days, so they couldn't send updates to their webmaster. They are headed to warm weather and are looking forward to geocaching again soon!

Hmmm....I had a watch on the log and it said it wasn't found anymore.
So I went to the main page and noticed the links to the Captain's Log at the top and bottom of the page are different locations.

The top one is http://www.t-rexsoftware.com/integritycruise/log.htm and works fine.
The bottom one is http://home.earthlink.net/~bill-ruth/log.htm and errors out.

So I am not sure which one we are supposed to monitor, but I'll assume it is the top one as it works.

Not sure if the ChangeDetection system built into the main page for signing up monitors the first/second/or both, but I thought I'd point it out.

I use ChangeNotes.com.

Thanks for pointing that out KP. I used changedetection.com, and noticed I had recieved any notifications recently. So I went to the old page and earthlink says the page doesnt exist.

Well, I wasn't seeing updates so I checked things out.

Seems that the http://www.t-rexsoftware.com/integritycruise/log.htm was not being detected as it uses a frame to show the logs.
So if anyone changed their page watch to the URL I gave then I suggest you change it again or manually check the page yourself.

So use this URL at your own risk too.
