In an Announcement posted yesterday (6/12/07) Jeremy indicates that there will be a google ad shown to non PM users (and users not signed in). I think this is better than raising Premium Member fees.

Seriously, it's my understanding that the hope is to defray some expenses by using google, and to also do a better job of communicating the benefits of premium membership so more people will enroll.
