Geocaching demonstration / instruction request

We've had a request to perform a Geocaching demonstration / instruction. The program would be similar to the GPS School that's held at the Elachee nature center in Gainsville each year and would be for a one day presentation either Tuesday July 17th or Thursday July 19th. To take place at the Rock Eagle 4H facility in Eatonton. Let’s Get Wild in Watkinsville, Ga., puts on a summer camp for kids to learn all about animals and has included Geocaching each year. Their normal instructor cannot make the commitment this year so they are asking if anyone else would be interested in this task.

Their hope is for someone to explain/teach Geocaching to 3-4 groups of 10 to 15 kids, age 12-15 years. Several folks on the Steering Committee have full schedules and can't help at this time. If you can, please contact Sharon or Steve about this to get futher details.

Contact them at:
Let’s Get Wild
1200 Pioneer Circle
Watkinsville, Georgia 30677
Phone: (706) 310-0088
Toll Free : (866) 880-9453

Don't say you can't, say you'll try.

My daughter is going to 4H Camp at Rock Eagle camp this summer but it is not on this week.

I do not know if I would be qualified to teach a geocaching class. I did do a lesson with my Girl Scouts.
