Geocacher
Posted
My supervisor informed me of a memo that was recently sent out through the FBI Joint Terrorism Task Force about geocaching. It advises what geocaching is, the website and gives several photos of geocaches that may be called in as suspicious devices.

Just thought I would pass this on.

My cache "No Strings Attached", was taken by homeland security, after a non-stealthy cacher was approached by the police for suspicous activity.
I recently recieved a photo and description of the cache that is being distributed to the FBI and other anti-terrorist orginizations. The cache was a gray plastic cylinder with caps on each end. I had not noticed, when I placed the cache, how much it resembled a pipe-bomb. I had created it to blend in with, and fit behind, a guard rail.
