Interesting that no one claims to like nano/micros best, but they are multiplying exponentially in the wild. Hmmmm.....

They're like Bunny's here in Senoia!

Please get your micros spayed and neutered!

There are TONS of them in my immediate area -- more than any other kind. I'm currently avoiding them until warmer weather (plus I have a small backpack full of swag to trade, LOL).

==================
Lord, make me an instrument of your peace. Where there is hatred, let me sow love; where there is injury,pardon; where there is doubt, faith; where there is despair, hope; where there is darkness, light; and where there is sadness, joy. O Divine Master, grant that I may not so much seek to be consoled as to console; to be understood as to understand; to be loved as to love. For it is in giving that we receive; it is in pardoning that we are pardoned; and it is in dying that we are born to eternal life. Amen (St. Francis of Assisi)

Well, I haven't been fan of them in the past... but I have learned they have their place in Annie's World.
  • When I'm needing a quick cache fix to get away from my cube.
  • When I'm in a race with a sneaky buddy to 1500 and I really need a couple more caches to win! Big Grin
  • When Lucy asks to go caching... She can't do the hiking ones anymore. So she has to do drive-by's now.
  • Now-a-days It's harder and harder for me to find the time and the right "lung" weather for me to do a caching hike - so once in a while I'll do a higher rated micro. Just to keep the account active.

That's just a few reasons I'll do micros.

I still like them boxes better though. Think about it this way...

Though most of us who have cached for a really long time actually remember when the micro cache was a novel idea. It was interesting because there were so few of them. They were hidden with the same intentions as the ammo cans and tupperware were - To show you something interesting, to share a spot that is really cool or a view that was breathtaking - and instead of making it a virtual (which was an option back then) a micro was hidden where a standard couldn't be.

Now those who are starting out with a ba-zillion micros with in a mile of wherever they are... Get that same "What a novel idea!" when they find a standard cache.

And then they see the errors of their ways.
Oooooooh I'm just kidding... I'll look forward to your letters (as Craig Ferguson says)
