I had one swiped that was tethered up in a tree. I can only figure someone walking through (Waaay off in an isolated part of the park) saw it and grabbed it. Looking at the government auction sites, the prices for ammo cans does seem to be up. PP4x4
Men that don't know him won't like him and men that do sometimes won't know how to take him, he ain't wrong he's just different but his pride won't let him do things to make you think he's right. WJ

Three months ago I had an ammo can go AWOL for one of my GSQ caches along the interstate. It was the 50 cal. The plastic container replacemnet is still there for now.

army gear.net has em on egay and through their store,i have found some at a pawn store in dawsonville right off 400. northern tool down in duluth has 50 but they are high. i have 3 set aside for our next multi.

We had an ammo can hidden in a wooded area on the property of a country store. We stopped by to perform maintenance one day and noticed we were being spyed upon. The next log entry was a DNF. Sure'nuf it was MIA along with all the contents. We were told that the described muggle frequents the area in search of scrap metal. They think he took it.....
