LZ33,
I have tried to PM and Email you about volunteering for the Skidaway GeoCaching 101. Perhaps I need to shower more.

My GPSr is Trans-Portable and has a Ford Ranger mounted to it.

Not sure who this reporter is and there is no text directed at the picture, but a dug out hole, plastic bag and a shovel is not the depiction of Geocaching we should have.

Emailed the reporter asking her to remove the picture or replace it. Told her that caches are NOT buried and the picture was misleading. She has since replaced the pic with something more appropriate.

Hi guys, thanks for the kind words.

Since the Silver Bonus Cache involves an 8 mile hike I'll probably wait until the weather is a little cooler. Unless GC.com makes WhereIGo work on an iPhone or conventional GPS I will have to borrow someone's newfangled GPS to do this. Thanks!

I just installed wherigo in my incredible (droid) phone. It seems that GPS units are just about obsolete/outdated.

I'd get one of those new fangled things, but I'm afraid if I dropped my Gps and broke it the phone wouldn't work either when I got lost with no trackback!

Bikers like cache!

I think the D rating is a little low for the park.

Wow! Never saw anything like this in the swamps of SE Looziana. Sure would have liked to snag one for the grill, tho.

Wow! I was there a week later and didn't see a single gator. We didn't go out on a boat either, but thought we'd see one in the swamp below the boardwalk.
