I met some new cachers at a 10-10-10 event and I went out and did a "One Busy Day" and got seven different caches.

I slipped out early to find one local EZ.PZ cache for the 10-10-10 challenge, and then went home for Honey-Do chores.

We enjoyed a long weekend in Boone, NC. Rented a cabin, did the Hawksnest zip line tour (fun!), hit an Oktoberfest, and found a dozen or so caches on Sugar and Beech Mtns. Got my first GC.com souvenir (the 10-10-10 one). So I've got that going for me.

On the 11th we stopped to eat at a little Mexican restaurant near Banner Elk. I'm standing in the parking lot admiring a giant apple tree loaded with apples when I spy something not quite right. It was a camo'd pill bottle zip tied to a branch! Turns out it had been published earlier in the day and we had no idea it was there. Found it quite by accident and scored an FTF!

I attended my first Event with most of my family and caching group (The Shifter Clan)--the 10-10-10 Kennesaw Event. I met some amazing people and learned quite a bit.

My husband and son (Poppa Coyote and SunBear)make a find in a deep dark cavern out front--well really it was a small, but well lit tunnel.

We took the Bear home for an impending hibernation event and the three of us--Paisley Cat, Poppa Coyote and White Rabbit spent a few more hours finding caches and collecting scratches.

Was in Florida to see my folks and celebrate my twins' birthday on the 12th with them. Went out on 10.10.10 and got five caches, mostly regulars, and met a Mobile, Al. cacher, Wileone, and his family. Found my first GeoGem.

Left Acworth at 11:00 pm Friday night drove all night to ST Louis, MO to meet Jgoose at the SLAGA(ST Louis Area Geocaching Assn) annual all day picnic and 10/10/10 Event. Then off to get the Virtual Cache at the "Arch of Western Expansion " or St Louis Arch. Then drove to Springfield, IL to Jgoose's house. Spent 5 days caching 270 caches.
