Oh yeah. It is just about that time of year again.
Start looking through those geocaching photos. Once again this year we will do the two usual calendars; in state and out of state. There is an addition this year though.
Cafepress is offering an oversized wall calendar. It sells for $20.99. The final size of the calendar is a whopping 17" wide x 11" tall. The minimum size photo for this calendar will be 2550 pixels wide by 1650 pixels high. You need to have a pretty good camera shooting at its highest resolution for this calendar. I've considered doing this version using the top 12 images from both inside and outside Georgia that have enough resolution to print a quality image for the calendar.
I hope you have been shooting those great shots at highest resolution!
DO NOT post entries at this time. Start gathering images together. I will post a topic in the next few days for posting images. This is just a teaser to get you thinking about it. I will post all requirements for both calendars in that topic.

If there are not enough photos that large, then we won't make it. Pretty easy to make that decision. It is free to make it available. As with anything, you don't have to buy it.
I shoot with two cameras, one at 7 megapixels and the other just over 6, so I will be making a personal one for sure.

Just a side note Some professional photographers I know, tell me that megapixels aren't everything. An enlarged picture made by a camera with fewer megapixels, but high quality sensors will look better than a picture from a camera with more megapixels but lower quality sensors. Knowing how a digital camera works that makes sense to me.
Just FYI Scientists at Rice University are working on the One-pixel camera.

My camera is a higher mega pixel than what I tend to shoot at. I just don't waste the memory stick on photos that would never be enlarged beyond an 8 x 10 - that's what I was saying.
I have all my 2007 photos ready to go. Unfortunitely, I shoot A LOT of portrait photos and only have maybe 10 landscape style like needed.

And how long exactly is a "few" days. So far it seems it's longer than 3 weeks.
