Recovering Geocacher![]() |
Here are some stats of cache density, using caches active on 5/30/07. If you have excel you can sort the density by land area and by population. This covers nearly 400,000 caches, with less than 7000 in smaller countries not tabulated.
Enjoy! ~erik~ This message has been edited. Last edited by: ~erik~, |

You better get crackin'! And micros only count as half-a-cache here. Just kidding, just kidding. Don't throw rocks! ~erik~ |

The high density of caches in Germany explains why I find so many trinkets from Germany in Florida caches. Georgia may be way down the list, but from my experience we have more top quality caches than many other states.

Well, I'm getting ready to travel to Yale shortly, and I would have thought that campus would have been a hot-bed of geocaches. Not so! They are underachievers in CT or the campus must have given the nix to caches. I'm really disappointed that there's only a possibility of MAYBE 2 caches within walking distance.
I'm really disappointed. |

Unless they are quality caches, I would rather not see Georgia cache density rise to the national average.
