Geocacher |
For the last two days, the activity of Geocaching has been being promoted and spoken about at the 2007 Techno-Tourism Conference in Athens Georgia.
A select few Geocachers were asked to present the topic of Geocaching for the various tourism entities around the state including having a GGA information booth. “Getting Started with Geocaching: A panel Discussion” Moderated by Peter Bowden, President/CEO Columbus CVB Panelist: Larissa Harris, Jekyll Island Authority, Eric Van Dyck, Georgia Geocachers Association, Nicole Lamkin, Atlanta Geocachers Association. Our '~erik' presenting: The Geocaching panel: The GGA information booth: Thanks to Erik (and his daughter) for operating the information booth and giving the muggles . This message has been edited. I'm pretty sure it was a typo/misconstruction on the part of the state. No worries either way, we've been working with Nicole (aka FitoNic) on this for a while now..

Yep, just a copy/paste from 'their' web page.
Sorry the pics are not so great. Though it doesn't look like it, the light was so low I had to hold the camera against the wall to hold it still enough just to get these. Don't say you can't, say you'll try. |
