Anyone else going? Just a heads up that early registration ends tonight at 11:59pm. After that, the price goes up $5.00 per package.

We will be camping there. Who's with us?

edited to add link

Not exactly. That is all JoGPS. I am one of the eight that has been to all of them. It appears that all eight of us will be back again.

Yep, gonna attend with decorated vehicle en route. Then off to see 'the falls' nearby and then see my Buckeye state family.

Don't say you can't, say you'll try.

IT strikes me that we ought to plan some sort of GGA gathering up there.

Who's in?

I almost think you have to see where everyone is staying. Hotels in Warren are long gone, but knowing they would go fast I reserved my room in July of last year so I am staying in Warren. If you don't have a room, Erie is about as close as you can get at this time. I think there is still some campground space at the event left. I know I am already getting some get-together stuff lined up myself and I would guess there will be a meet-and-greet on Friday night as usual.

Well I'll be in the campground Thursday through Sunday. It's sounding like there's enough interest in some sort of GGA gathering that we ought to keep the thread going and see what we can plan. Certainly I'd like to go to any/all of the "official" events, and no reason we can't have at least some informal thing of our own...

We will be camping in the Geo-Scotty Ammo Can (you can't miss us lol) at site 333, which is in the area of the campground adjacent to venue. Since it's close by and the site looks pretty large on the map, we would be happy to offer our site as a gathering spot. What time sounds good?

The Midnight Madness geocoin event is that Saturday starting at 9 PM. How about 7 or 8 PM for the GGA get-together? That gives folks a chance to get dinner and still make the geocoin event?

Anytime is fine with me. Here's a map of our campsite (333) in proximity of the GWS event location.

Unfortunately, my mother will be having surgery next week and I won't be able to make the trip after all.

So....that fine campsite you see pictured above is now available if anyone would like a GREAT spot for GWS. Let me know if you're interested! We also have two meal tickets available.

Well, mom continues to amaze us. Surgery on Monday and yesterday she was picking okra in the garden. Wow.

So, in true fatkids/Team Underachievers fashion, we WILL be making the marathon run to GWS after all (with two less travel days).

The invitation still stands for meeting at our campsite Saturday evening around 5-6 pm until we decide to head to dinner, etc, before the Midnight Geocoin Madness event. How 'bout a wine and cheese party? Or, beer and pretzels? Text me and let's plan a Georgia style campsite party 706-366-3080

That is fantastic news - that mom is doing so well! Great! And you bet I'd like to get together. My # is 404-401-9488. Probably need to make it after 6 though - I'm working a couple volunteer shifts and there's supposed to be some thing for us @ 6 or so.
We'll get it figured out. I can hardly wait - drive careful!

Great news all around! I think I know what your campsite is, hehe. Tina and I will see if we can get by. I know we typically take pictures kind of late and I have not heard what time we take the "Attended All" picture. We will see if we can get on by though. I know Janet has my number and doc should know where mine is.
