This may have already been discussed here or on the Groundspeak forums but I'm unaware of any such thread.

In the cache logs, when you mouse over a user_name, you'll see a URL ending in something like this: A=4261

I never noticed that mouse-over number thing. Interesting.

I think your hypothesis is correct. User "iryshe" (Jeremy) has A=2 as the URL suffix. I guess #1 would be Dave Ulmer, the alleged creator of geocaching.

Just a guess here, but a number like 4937 probably entitles me to zero bragging rights...

My number is 3512, and I can tell from comparing our two profile pages that I hid my first cache before Brad found his first one. I am one of the few that actually hid a cache before I found my first cache. Wild that we are over the 52,000 number, or that is as high as I have seen.

BTW, I also agree that it is good to see you posting here again mudbugs. I just went to Mary Sue's Cache recently. We hope to see you out there logging caches again soon.
