So while I am attending The Great Smoky Mountain GeoQuest last weekend and doing a little coin trading with TAR and The Moop Along, I come accross this coin again. It seems whoever purchased the coin from eBay, anonymously mailed it to TAR as a replacement for the one stolen from him at last year's Lacy Campout.
What a thoughtful gesture on the buyer's part. |

Wow! Just found this thread.
What a great history this coin has! I still have no idea who sent it to me, but if you know please pass along my appreciation. Johnnie had also given me another, which toured events in my collection and was recently donated as a door-prize at an event so others could enjoy it. I have (and will keep!) this one to take to events. |
