First, welcome to our community! We try to keep a friendly, professional atmosphere here,
and these few rules will hopefully keep it that way. The stated purpose of this community
is to promote Geocaching in Georgia and give users information and a discussion area. If
you ever have a question about how the community is run, feel free to click the
"contact us" link at the bottom of any page and let us know.
The Georgia Geocachers Association (GGA) does not confirm the validity of information
posted on this message board. We do not actively monitor the contents of posted messages
and are not responsible for any messages posted. Remember that the posted messages express
the views of the author of the message, not necessarily the views of the GGA.
We (the GGA, the Steering Committee (GGA SC) and any moderators) reserve the right to
delete any message for any or no reason whatsoever subject to the GGA Forums Posting Guidelines. You remain solely responsible for the content of
your messages, and you agree to indemnify and hold harmless the members of this message
board, the GGA and the GGA SC, Infopop Corporation (the makers of the message board
software), and their agents with respect to any claim based upon viewing of this board
and/or transmission of your message(s).
If you feel that a posted message is objectionable, you are encouraged to contact us
immediately by email via the Contact Us links at the bottom of each board. We have the
ability to remove objectionable messages and we will make every effort to do so, within a
reasonable time frame, if we determine at our sole discretion that removal is necessary.
This is a manual process, however, so please realize that we may not be able to remove or
edit particular messages immediately.

policy) may be banned from participating.
- Post advertisements, chain letters, pyramid schemes, and solicitations. Any such items
will be deleted summarily and the poster is subect to banning.
- Post your message in more than one place on this board. This will actually hinder you
from getting a rapid answer, and repeated cross-posting may result in your being banned.
We reserve the right to reveal your identity (or whatever information we know about
you) in the event of a complaint or legal action arising from any message posted by you.

The GGA values and respects your privacy and doesn't collect or sell data about its
members. None of your information will be revealed without a court order!
Shortly after registration, valid GGA Members will be given "GGA Member" status
which will allow access to the Private Forums Section. This is a manual process, so please
allow time for this to take effect. Valid GGA Members are people that have attended
at least one Event Cache Meeting. You can register on our forums if you have not attended
a meeting (and create a cool avatar and such), but only valid GGA Members gain "GGA
Member" status to view Private Forums. All we require is your email address and
you are on your way!
